The Narrative

The Soul of the Object

This spectacular wall fountain is a masterpiece of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, bringing the vibrant soul of Fes to any space. Hand-chiseled from glazed terracotta tiles, thousands of individual Zellige pieces are painstakingly assembled to create a mesmerizing Islamic geometric star pattern in a rich palette of cobalt blue, emerald green, ruby red, mustard yellow, and white. The central design is framed by an ornate, scrolling arabesque border in warm gold and blue tones, culminating in a graceful arch. The fountain's form is as impressive as its tilework, featuring a tall, mihrab-style back panel that flows into a generously proportioned, multi-lobed basin. The basin itself is adorned with a complementary geometric motif and finished with a solid blue rim. A functional, solid brass spigot is centrally mounted, ready to provide the soothing sound of flowing water. More than just a water feature, this fountain is a piece of architectural art, reflecting centuries of Moorish heritage. It is constructed on a durable reinforced cement base, making it suitable for being the centerpiece of a riad courtyard, a lush garden, or a grand entryway. Each tile tells the story of the artisan's hand, ensuring no two fountains are exactly alike.

"Every imperfection tells a story of human hands at work."
